We flew Hong Kong Airlines Business Class Bangkok to Hong Kong as part of our $585 business class fare from LA to many Asian cities.
We flew to Hong Kong from Bangkok on a flight that departed BKK at 4am and arrived in Hong Kong a little before 8am.
So we spent most of our 4-hour connection in the Hong Kong Airlines Autus lounge – especially the nap room!
The Autus Business Class Lounge
This Hong Kong Airlines flagship lounge truly is state of the art luxury.
In addition to the nap room this enormous lounge has several seating areas to meet any traveler’s need: lounging, working or eating.
It features fantastic views of the tarmac, great food and a variety of beverage options.
The lounge covers the entire mezzanine level so it feels open and airy and also gets tons of natural light.
Basically, the Hong Kong Airlines Autus lounge rocks.

Nap Room in the Hong Kong Airlines Autus Business Lounge Hong Kong Airport
Coming off of a 4 am to 8 am redeye flight from Bangkok, the most important lounge feature for us was the nap room.
There were six leather beds in the nap room, but when we arrived a little after 8 am only one was occupied.
We asked for and were provided blankets. Then we laid down and slept for a couple hours.
It was delightful!

Hong Kong Airlines Autus business class lounge at HKG airport is a fantastic lounge.
It has every amenity that an airline lounge can offer short of massages and bath tubs (I’m looking at you, Thai Airlines and Lufthansa First Class Terminal, respectively!).
Obviously Hong Kong Airlines is competing with the Cathay Pacific lounges at HKG. And they got game!
